1959 als Sohn einer französisch-italienischen Mutter und deutschen Vaters in Heidelberg geboren, zog es mich Anfang der 80er Jahre zum Film, wobei schon immer mein Augenmerk der Photographie galt.
Noch während meiner Zeit beim Film ( tätig als Cutter, Ton-Assistent, Tonmeister, Kamera-Assistent, Kameramann, Regie_Assistent, 1.AD und zu guter Letzt als Produktionsleiter) gründete ich die ARTLOFTANDMORE, um meinen Bruder Eric Massholder (Maler) zu promoten. 2011, nach dem Tod meines Vaters, war es an der Zeit für Veränderungen. Ich konzentrierte mich auf die Photographie. Es entstanden konzeptionelle Projekte, wie WASSER, MASSHOLDERS MOMENTS WHILE PASSING BRIDGES, MASSHOLDER V EXIT, TAXI (wobei die letzten  im  Baukastenprinzip zur TRILOGIE EINER STADT zusammengefügt wurden, aber auch für sich alleine stehen), DIE BÖDEN ZUR KUNST, HOCHMEISTERPLATZ, OBSESSION (aktuell).
Im Jahr 2014 Gründung der Galerie z22 als OHG. 2018 Liquidation und Überführung als Showroom Galerie z22 in die  artloftandmore. Parallel dazu immer wieder Filmprojekte als Produzent und Regisseur und CROSS_OVER_PROJEKTE mit anderen Künstlern.

Born in Heidelberg in 1959 as the son of a French-Italian mother and German father, I was drawn to film at the beginning of the 80's, although I have always been interested in photography.
During my time in the film business (working as editor, sound assistant, sound engineer, camera assistant, cameraman, assistant director, 1st AD and last but not least as production manager) I founded ARTLOFTANDMORE to promote my brother Eric Massholder (painter). In 2011, after the death of my father, it was time for changes. I concentrated on photography. Conceptual projects were created, such as WATER, MASSHOLDERS MOMENTS WHILE PASSING BRIDGES, MASSHOLDER V EXIT, TAXI (the last of which were put together in a modular system to form the TRILOGY OF A CITY, but also stand alone), DIE BÖDEN ZUR KUNST, HOCHMEISTERPLATZ, OBSESSION (current).
In 2014 foundation of the gallery z22 as OHG. 2018 liquidation and transfer as showroom Galerie z22 to artloftandmore. Parallel to this, film projects as producer and director and CROSS_OVER_PROJECTS with other artists.
